Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell it, and we don’t handle your card details ourselves.

Who we are
The Peaceable Way is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 41-4070785), located at 3205 Neighbor Rd, Saint Joseph, MO 64506.
What we collect
When you give. Donations are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe’s own payment page — they are never sent to, or stored on, our servers. Stripe shares with us your name, email address, the gift amount, and (if you provide it) your billing address, so that we can issue a receipt and keep proper records as a charity. Stripe’s handling of your data is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.
When you browse. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. It records things like the pages you visit, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device you’re on. We do not use it to identify you personally.
That’s all. We don’t run advertising trackers, and we have no accounts or logins on this site.
How we use it
To process your gift, send your receipt and any acknowledgment we owe you, meet our record-keeping and reporting duties as a nonprofit, and understand in aggregate how the site is used. Nothing more.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share donor lists with other organizations.
Recurring gifts
If you set up a monthly gift, Stripe stores your payment method so the gift can recur. You can change or cancel it at any time using the link in your receipt, or by contacting us. Cancelling stops all future charges.
How long we keep it
Donation records are kept as long as charity law and our record retention policy require — generally at least seven years — because we’re obliged to substantiate contributions. Analytics data is retained on Google’s default schedule.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we’re not legally required to keep it. You can opt out of analytics entirely using Google’s opt-out browser add-on, or your browser’s tracking protection.
Children
This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
